Installation Instructions:

1. Click here to start downloading the CompuServe Dialer software.
2. Important: Be sure to write down the filename and path to the directory where you save the file.
3. Exit out of your Internet Service Provider.
4. Locate the CompuServe Dialer setup file that you saved to your computer and double-click it.
5. Follow the easy online instructions to install your CompuServe Dialer software!

Windows 95/98 System Requirements:

1. 166 Mhz Pentium-class processor
2. 16 MB RAM
3. Hard drive free space required for install: 50 MB**
4. 640x480, 256 colors or better screen (optimized for 800x600)
5. 14.4 or faster modem
   

** Requires up to 125 MB of free hard disk space if IE 5.5 needs to be installed.

Installation Instructions:

1. Click here to start downloading CompuServe 2000 version 5.0 for Windows 95 & 98.
2. Important: Be sure to write down the filename and path to the directory where you save the file.
3. Exit out of your Internet Service Provider.
4. Locate the CompuServe setup file that you saved on your hard drive and double-click it. (Look for the file that starts with "setupcs2k".)
5. Follow the easy online instructions to install your FREE CompuServe 2000 Software!
   
   Note: You may be given the opportunity to upgrade your Web browser to Internet Explorer 5.5 while you are upgrading your CompuServe software. If you choose to upgrade your browser at this time, you will need 100 additional megabytes of available hard disk space.
   

Mac OS X System Requirements:

1. Mac OS X 10.0.4 or newer
2. 128 MB of RAM or more

4. 640X480, 256 colors or better screen (Optimized for 800 X 600)
5. Modem supported by MAC OS X
   

Installation Instructions:

1. Click here to start downloading CompuServe 2000 for Macintosh.
2. Exit out of your Internet Service Provider.
3. In the Finder, navigate to the directory where you saved the installer. If the installer is a document and not an application, you will need to decode the installer using a tool such as StuffIt Expander.
4. Double-click on the "Install CompuServe 2000 for OS X" icon to begin installing CompuServe 2000.
5. On the CompuServe 2000 installation windows that will appear, Click "Continue", then Click "Install"
6. You will be asked for your Administrator Name and Password. (This is the administrator login you created when installing Mac OS X)
7. After the installation is complete, the CompuServe 2000 for Mac OS X software will automatically launch.
8. Follow the easy online instructions to set up your FREE CompuServe 2000 software!
   

Macintosh System Requirements:

1. Power Macintosh, OS 8.1
2. 32 MB of built-in RAM
3. 30 MB available hard disk space
4. 256 color display or better
5. 14.4 or faster modem
   

Installation Instructions:

1. Click here to start downloading CompuServe 2000 for Macintosh.
2. Exit out of your Internet Service Provider.
3. In the Finder, navigate to to the directory where you saved the installer. If the installer is a document and not an application, you will need to decode the installer using a tool such as StuffIt Expander.
4. Double-click on the "Install CompuServe 2000" icon to begin installing CompuServe 2000. The installer will launch and lead you through the installation process. Your computer will need to restart when installation is complete.
5. After your computer has restarted, go to the top level of the hard drive you selected during installation and double-click on the "CompuServe 2000" folder.
6. Follow the easy online instructions to install your FREE CompuServe software!
